Eric Thomson (Tenor), a student of Dr. Chia-wei
Lee, originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, is a senior pursuing his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio,
Texas. There he has been a Baker Duncan Scholar and this past Spring was awarded the Calvert Scholarship to study music
abroad. In May of 2008, Eric was the soloist for Mozart's Requiem for the annual Trinity and Friends Concert.
This past summer Eric studied at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music, Summer in Salzburg focusing on both German
lieder and operatic repertoire. Additional honors include, placing first in the annual Rosalind Phillips Vocal Excellence
Competition hosted by Trinity University, and being a finalist and placing in the N.A.T.S. vocal auditions.
